A very interesting exhibition that tapped into something that I am truly fascinating in, putting science and culture side by side. “A Thousand Layers of Stomach” by A.A. Murakami simulates an endless state of change in a culture like the constant change that occurs in living cells. Bridging technological advancement with vernacular aesthetics to probe the cultural, historic and economic changes of the postmodern world. One major takeaway and highlighting idea I guess is humanity needs to find a more symbiotic relationship between human population growth and the natural system on which our existence depends. I also really enjoy the inspiration that artists get from different Asian cities, merging them under one umbrella with different touches enriches the entire experience.
