Recently been to ‘Garden of Six Seasons’ exhibition as a precursor to the Kathmandu Triennale. It is quite different from what I’ve experienced before and glad to see something refreshing during these crazy times. The multiple locations, especially the Soho House one with a hometown touch added an extra dimension to the overall experience.
Personally fell in love with the work of Hung Fai, entailing a series of experimentations and transformations, extending possibilities of traditional painting. Charles Gaines work exploring objectivity and subjectively also invoke thoughts to viewers. The Installation from Vvezela Kook exploring the entangled relationship between colonial HK’s urban planning and plan ecology is also a fascinating one. The collaborative piece by Hung Fai and Wai Pong Yu such a soothing piece for the eyes
